On birthday anniversary of Prophet Muhammad and Imam Ja'far Sadiq, 160 healthcare, medical and service projects in coverage areas of Mashhad University of Medical Sciences were simultaneously inaugurated in a ceremony attended by Dr. Hashemi, Minister of Health and Medical Education, Governor of Razavi Khorasan, and a number of national, provincial and academic administrators and officials at Educational, Research, Healthcare and Treatment, Cultural and Welfare Complex of Mashhad University of Medical Sciences (Sepid Tower). According to Webda, these projects are constructed on a total area of 60,000 square meters at a cost of over one thousand billion Rials and include Sepid Tower Educational, Research, Healthcare and Treatment, Cultural and Welfare Complex, Center for Crisis Management and Medical Emergencies, School of Traditional Medicine, 3 specialty clinics, 2 maternity blocks, 2 chemotherapy and cancer screening centers, 44 comprehensive urban and rural health service centers, 47 physician and midwife home offices, 19 urban health centers, and 2 comprehensive laboratories, among others. The projects are located at most parts of MUMS coverage areas (including Mashhad, Taibad, Golbahar, Khaf, Sarakhs, Kalat, Kashmar, Quchan, and Bakharz). |
