History

With the help from Allah, Women Health Research Center was established in June 2007 with the aim of maintaining and improving women's health and to conduct scientific research and applications in medicine, women's issues and expand cultural research and publication. The Strategic Plan Research Center is announced in two sections as follows:

Women's Health Research Center's overall goal:

• Prioritize research gynecology

• Maintain and strengthen the position of women research, guidance and facilitating conditions to empower researchers in conducted research

• System targeted at creating research women.

• Communicate with industry

• Collaboration with research centers and coordinating centers and related sectors

• Periodic Performance Evaluation Center

Women's Health Research dedicated objectives:

1. Prioritize research on women in medicine

• It determined based on needs assessment research needs of women faculty members and associated groups.

• To determine the needs of research based information for health resources and needs of the University of HSR.

• To determine the needs assessment based on community research.

• It collected and conclusions related to previous research conducted in university and evaluating and enjoyment of their results.

• To determine priorities based on data from the above.

2. Maintain and strengthen the position of women research, guidance and facilitating conditions to empower researchers in research conducted.

• Announced research priorities

• Determining indicators for determining the top researcher and appreciate top researchers.

• Financial and moral support from researchers interested

• Motivation and their sense of fertility and participation in providing students and doing research projects

• Use research methodology workshops

• Providing conditions for use of resources and scientific researchers within and outside libraries

• Perform coordination between departments

• Research advising (counseling research unit set up) by experts to researchers.

3. Establishing systems for research targeted women.

• Approval based on the declared priorities.

• Create interaction between women's education and research sectors needs

• Communication between clinical and basic designs

• Collect and sum the results and create database.

• Appropriate information to other scientific and research centers in the database of women

• Backing for the creation and implementation arrangements and present the results and identify strategies necessary. 

4. Communicate with industry

• Research introduced the ability to respond to industry needs.

• Identifying legal obstacles between university and industry.

• Utilizing successful experiences in this field through the National Center for Research.

• Efforts to conclude joint projects and support to attract industry.

5. Collaboration with research centers and coordinating centers and related sectors

• Coordination with the National Center for Women's Research.

• Active communication with other research centers within and outside the country.

• Establish research centers to take advantage of other database centers.

6. Periodic Performance Evaluation Center

• Determination of performance indicators based on strategic objectives and evaluation ethics.

• Center performance evaluation once every six months, and officials announced the results.

• Apply to subsets of the units report every three months.

• Regular meetings of the council formed to investigate reports of projects.
