Ibn-e-Sina and Dr. Hejazi Psychiatry Hospital

Ibn-e-sina hospital has been built in 1980 in a land of 131088 square meters. Its first name was Central psychiatry Center in Ahmadabad Ave., Mashhad. It was changed to Razi Hospital in Ferdosi Square, Mashhad. |

During these years Dr. Hejazi joined Razi hospital. Dr. Hejazi hospital was initiated in 1949 by Dr. Hejazi. The purpose of establishing this hospital was to care for psychiatric patients who could not afford to care for themselves. It was supported by the help of people. |

In 1988 Razi hospital was moved to its present place. The name was changed to Ibn-e-sina psychiatry Educational Hospital. |

|
This hospital was donated to Mashhad Medical University. Shafa psychiatry center was closed in year 2000 and all its patients were referred to ebn-e-Sina hospital. |
|
|
Ibn-e-Sina and Dr. hejazi educational hospitals are one of the biggest places for psychiatry patients in the state of Khorasan (razavi, south and north) and all the eastern part of the country. |
