Pathology
Pathology and cytology of children's sub special hospital of Dr. Sheikh has begun to work by providing all related services since 1997. This unit in addition to ability of reception of all tissue samples (biopsy) for reviewing routine of pathologic tissues and specific variant coloring, has served carefully in the case of cytological tests on send liquids by using cytosine machine (cerebrospinal fluid) as the first University center in Iran since 2000. |

This laboratory is equipped with crautome machine for diagnosis during operation (frozen section) that provides the possibility of specific 8 special surgical operation in age group of infants and children during different processes of diagnosis and therapy, including one-process diagnosis and surgical therapy of disease in childhood.
Other service included in this unit is, complete autopsy as doctor or parents ask for diagnosis for reason of death.
