Nursing Services:

Nursing Office of Dr. Sheikh hospital is run by Director of Nursing (Matron). Matron is responsible for all hospital workers in nursing work. This power includes planning practice in the field of promoting quality and continuous improvement activities, services, data collection center, clients and human resources, active filters and other institutions within the policy maker and organizational goals based on needs to provide, maintain and improving the health and social welfare, determining the activities and take appropriate methods to achieve desired goals, planning and company formation committees with specific tasks, the optimum solution and create appropriate conditions for optimum use of available resources to achieve goals, harmonious, active participation in health planning.

Participation in research projects, Participation in budget for the activities center, determine the estimated levels of human resources departments of nursing based on the required scientific standards, Staffing based on the ability of people working in different shifts, recommended the appointment and transfer of staff under the supervision, Leave decisions Game, mission and nursing staff led groups for research purposes in organizational units, providing effective communication nursing model, optimal performance and behavior in job and also meet the main renal failure nursing unit, whether that failure is in the ethical issues or other problems in the organization and nursing unit.

 

Matron:

• Hospitals Matron must also attend non shift days other than required morning shifts in the hospital to stay informed on Daily events in nursing.
• Four clinical supervisors, one educational supervisor (a morning and afternoon Supervisor, two Supervisors at Night), infection control expert, to accompany the Mtrvn in the nursing station.
• Educational Supervisor includes Acquiring command and the work plan of nursing services manager field performance, Preparing short-term training programs and long-term coverage for groups.
• Performance evaluation and promotion of educational level and patient educational activities relevant sections.
• Proposal and preparing the book, magazine, booklet, and teaching aids to improve staff knowledge covered.
• Continuous training programs for specific groups (disaster), Committee recommended the establishment of educational and continuing educational classes.
• Cooperation, Feedback and participation of different parts to extract subsets educational needs

• Participate in seminars and congresses for presenting effective methods and services, hospital Committee, registration and hospital reporting evaluation and training activities to authorities, performance evaluation training.

• Active control and supervision in nursing Category different shifts, participation in ongoing evaluation committee staff, clients and staff satisfaction study.

Morning and evening and night supervisors in nursing manage coordination between sectors, Other activities and functions is as follows:

 

• Acquiring command and the work plan of nursing services manager

• Participation and cooperation in gathering information and proposals for appropriate changes in nursing services

• Cooperation with the director of nursing programs and set goals and cooperation with other authorities, preparing reports and set quantitative and qualitative situation providers, creating coordination between different units to desired services, supervising staff of professional behavior and ethical scientific
  Diagnosis of needs and problems in nursing and related units to solve their action

• Participation in distribution of nursing staff

• Creating appropriate working conditions and understanding between staff
  Provision of staff and create appropriate conditions at the time of action in Emergencies

• Regular visits to the related departments to ensure services and to report to the superior

• Control and continuous supervision and maintenance of equipment and how to use drugs

Infection control expert:

• Infection control expert duty is to visit various parts of nursing and some patients, admission and transfer patients to other centers
• Knowledge resources from a review of hospital infections and research
• Cooperation in implementing Programs related to infection control for nurses
• Formation of health examination plan file and the period of vaccination for staff
• Assessment instruments and equipment and solution for dangerous infections
• Daily visits of sections
• Preparing guidelines infection control section and other vulnerable parts
• Company formation and infection control committee meetings
