Definition of social working in Therapeutic and Hygienic Centers
Social working in therapeutic and hygienic centers is developed since 60 years ago. Social working was used in public hospital of Boston - America for the first time. The objectives of social working and medicine have not changed but their domain of activity has developed significantly and covered many human groups. Today many social workers are working in medical and dentistry centers and have caused development and improvement of social working. Among various occupations that are done in hospitals, social working is the only occupation and social worker is the only individual that their objective in therapy and hygiene is to increase the social activities of individuals and groups. The medicine remedies and social worker cooperates in the programs of prevention, therapy and perseverance of patient.
Social working based on its super and well intentioned objectives in helping particular patients such as incurable cancer, helps to have a comfortable life. Based on this definition that the aim of social working (my light is brightening others' life) it tries to make a safe place against the troubles which threatens the nest of a patient’s life.
