1. Lending section: which act manual and computerizing, lending is done by computer for formal members and manual for other applicants?
Computerized system of lending is Pars Azarakhsh software under Dos, which is a powerful package of software and has been, designed to save and retrieval of members information and technical and general services of libraries and documents centers.
Users:
1. Faculty members and employed physicians in this center.
2. Students of Mashhad university of medical sciences: associate of arts diploma, bachelors degree, masters degree, doctorate degree and specialized courses who spend their clinical course in this hospital.
3. Faculty members and employees in children group from other university treatment centers.
4. Nurses, radiology and laboratory sciences technicians in the hospital.
** Membership card is issued for all persons who are employed formally in this hospital, and books are lent to other persons by providing military service card, and student card.
** Membership card period of formal library members is only valid till they are employed in this center.
** Membership card period of students is only valid till they spend their clinical course in this center.
Lending conditions:
1. Library members can borrow maximum of 3 books for 10 days.
2. Students can borrow 2 books for 5 days.
3. Time for non-printed materials such as CD is one week.
4. Borrowing person cannot lend books to others.
5. Library members have to borrow and give back books with their membership cards.
6. Reference books are kept in reserve section.
7. One can extend lending period after giving it back to lending section.
8. The books which are in the reserve list won't be extended and will be kept in the library for 24 hours to be delivered to the person in the list.
** If a book is lost, altered or torn and deformed, person have to provide and deliver another one as its origin.
**If it is impossible to provide the lost or altered book again. That person must pay ten times as much as that book to the library.

1. Magazines
2. Reference books
3. Thesis
**Magazines and reference books are lent to faculty members and pediatrics only for 18 hours.
Information section: Providing accessibility to the electronic information through Internet network is the most important task of this section and its services include searching essays in medical information databanks in Internet, introducing international congresses to the members and sending faculty essays.
