1997 – 2001: Molecular Toxicology Group, School of Biomedical & Life Sciences. University of Surrey. Guildford, UK. Awarded Ph.D. degree in Toxicology.

1989 – 1996: Teaching of Pharmacology (theory and experimental) to the students of medicine, dentistry, pharmacy and nursing.
2001 – Up to now: Teaching of pharmacology to the undergraduate and toxicology to the postgraduate students.
1993-2009: Contribute in re-training programs of pharmacists and GPs in Mashhad
University of Medical Sciences and presented lectures about the hospital pharmacy, carcinogens, chemotherapy and medicinal plants.

1991: A comparative study of antispasmodic effects of some Iranian medicinal plants with atropine on isolated guinea-pig ileum (presented in the 10th Iranian congress of Physiology and Pharmacology, Ahwaz, Iran, 9-12 Dec, 1991).
1993: Study on the anticonvulsant effect of ketamine as compared with phenytoin in mice (presented in the 11th Iranian congress of Physiology and Pharmacology, Tabriz, Iran, 18-21 May, 1993).
1994: Anti-diabetic effect of the plant Urtica dioica as compared with insulin in mice.
1995: Effects of fish oil on hypertension and blood cholesterol and triglycerides.
2002: Anti-tussive and smooth muscle relaxant effect of Portulaca oleraceae L. in guinea-pig (presented in the 16th Iranian congress of Physiology and Pharmacology, Tehran, Iran, 2003).
