Orthopedic Research Center of Mashhad is the first approved orthopedic research center to take worthy steps in promotion of research capacity in this field.
Goals for twenty years in perspective, one important pillar for achieving this great goal, is to create infrastructure and develop research culture at national level so our dear homeland can achieve a noble level of scientific, cultural, social and economical development.
One way of research development in country is to create specialized centers with a platform, infrastructure, planning opportunity and appropriate facilities to provide researchers with the production of science and technology to become a dynamic culture. Major orthopedic surgery, is an accelerating developing branch of medical sciences. This field due to its dependence on double science and technology with software and hardware in recent decades has had a significant change in treatment for human life.
Development of human knowledge in science metallurgy, isothermal, biomechanics, biochemistry, medical engineering and biotechnology in recent decades has created communication of clinical orthopedic and trauma surgery patients with above groups in the treatment of profound change in health care.
Today, all sectors of academic orthopedic surgery and even in some countries, the private hospitals have research centers that establishes communication between orthopedic clinic and research technology and medical industries.
