Library of Omid Hospital

This academic library is one special library and was established in April 1989 in separate educational floor area of 110 square meters with Audio and visual and computer unit. It includes Training Unit, Research Unit, Auditorium Theater and prayer room. Topics covered in Library are radiotherapy - oncology, pathology and surgery. Library members, include physicians, students, staff and researchers from all around the university who want to do research in oncology. This library is run as open shelves.
The library contains approximately 3,000 volumes of which can be among the most recent Reverence university books. Our goal is to provide research and study tools for researchers. 1400 book collection includes Persian, Latin 1050 book Field, 90 theses, 570 cultural books, 12 magazine specialized in Latin, and 30 Journals in Persian and a number of health pamphlet. This Brochures are provided free of charge for patients and students.

Library activities:
- Information, borrow books, journals and educational CDs
- Preparation and follow up the most important and latest publications specialized in Latin
- Type and proliferation of Scientific articles
- Preparation of cancer patients in separate statistics since 1982
- Statistics search ability in patients with software FOX, ACCESS and present it for their research activities, conferences and articles
- Prepare charts and posters and all computing services to researchers
- Collecting digital comprehensive information from patients
- (Radiography and cards from all the case patients and provide information collected to researchers)
- Research Activity in Hospital
- Archive of Oncology prepared as a separate set
- Cooperation with all research plans and information for hospital patient education (collaboration with Nursing Education by preparing various pamphlet in hospitals for the education of patients)
