Nuclear Medicine Research Center
Mashhad University of Medical Science
Nuclear medicine research center was founded on May 2, 2009 and Dr. Seyed Rasoul Zakavi was selected as president.
Research Center of Nuclear Medicine is a nonprofit center in the field of diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine with the aim of promoting public health and increasing human knowledge to operate.
Objectives:
The center for the expansion of basic research and applied nuclear medicine and to help correct diagnosis and timely treatment of patients and the increasing need of specialized medical units, research, therapy, Nuclear Medicine Research Center Mashhad University of Medical Sciences with the following objectives is established:

Developing and utilizing human knowledge in the field of nuclear medicine

Participation in the production of nuclear medicine

Fundamental research, epidemiologic and clinical diagnostic services to reform - with the aim of therapeutic response to community needs

Create database (collected, arranged and classified patient records, articles and related resources)

Training manpower in the field of nuclear medicine research

To encourage, promote and cooperate with different field researchers

In an effort to draw attention and cooperation of research centers and the relevant executive in the country

Cooperation with scientific research and education in other countries and international organizations
