According to Webda, Dr. Mehdi Fathi, MUMS Associate Professor of Anesthesiology said, “The first International Congress on Mental Training and Neuro-bahavioral Sciences will be hosted by Mashhad University of Medical Sciences and Iranian Scientific Society of Clinical Hypnosis, in partnership with Ferdowsi University of Mashhad and National Olympic and Paralympic Academy of Iran, from 4th to 6th Aban (26-28 October).”
Dr. Fathi added, “The Congress is planned with the aim of introducing and emphasizing the power of mind to master body and behavior, promote health, and help in treatment and rehabilitation of patients.”
Secretary of the First International Congress on Mental Training and Neuro-bahavioral Sciences noted, “Principles of training the mind and nurturing mental abilities for enhancing the quality of life and improving behavioral functions, as well as efficient and optimized ways of using the mind in various fields (education, treatment, and sports) will be discussed in the Congress by Iranian and foreign experts.”
“Medical topics of the Congress include mental training for patients with mental disorders, mental practice for spinal degenerative injuries, mental training for enhancement of learning abilities, mental training in rehabilitation, mental training in dentistry, mental training to improve life quality, mental practice for addiction avoidance, etc. In addition to expert panels, speeches by prominent experts from Sweden, Belgium and Germany, and educational workshops, national and Olympic champions will explain their mental management experiences, and also we’ll have an exhibition of famous sports medals,” he added.
