ENT
ENT center was established in 2001. This center was first located in BuAli Research Center and then moved to Ghaem Hospital.
ENT specialists with the help of other specialists like oncologists, electrical engineers and... were developing this center. It had a meeting every Monday until it achieved more than 10 research projects and they were published.
In 2007 it was recognized by research committee under research chancellor of MUMS. There are more than 20 academic faculty working in this center.
there are three locations that ENT group are working and doing their research which are Buali research center (Avicenna), Ghaem hospital and Emam Reza Hospital clinics centers.
 
 Objectives:
  • Development and application of human knowledge in the field of Ear, Throat, Nose, Head and Neck diseases
  • Basic research, epidemiological and clinical for reform of health services to meet community needs of the system
  • Create database (collected, set and classification of documents, articles and relevant documents)
  • Training the workforce researchers in the ear, throat, nose, head and neck diseases
  • Encouragement and cooperation with researchers
  • Attempt to draw attention and cooperation in research centers and relevant executive within the country
  • Scientific cooperation with research and education centers in other countries and international organizations with the regulations of Islamic Republic of Iran
