Membership
Central Library membership is free to anyone who studies in the Mashhad University of Medical Sciences as students & all faculty members as well. To borrow material from the Central Library, it is necessary to be registered as a Library member. The Library offers two kinds of free memberships:
1- MUMS membership (For all medical school students & staff)
2- Corporate membership (Limited Card for PhD & Ms. Students & faculty staff )

1- MUMS membership:
Registration will enable you to borrow books and other resources, as set out in the Library Circulation Policy. To register, you need to visit the library and give following items to Librarian:
1- A copy of Campus ID card
2- recent photo
3- Filling application form.
By becoming a member of the MUMS central Library, you agree with the Conditions of Circulation Policy.

2- Corporate membership
Corporate membership (Limited Card): Central Library offers a single card that can be used by some MS. & PhD students & faculties for research-related borrowing. This white card can be used in all campus Libraries & also Ferdowsi University Central Library. For obtaining this Card, they need to give a photo plus a signed letter from Head of department plus filling an application form plus 5000 Rials. Payment to Librarian.
Remember: You need to show your library card each time you want to borrow an item from each library. The barcode sign on the back of your library card is used to place holds & renew items.
