Guide to library catalog

Click on Library Catalog.

Click on Login

Choose " simple search" or " advanced search"

Choose the language: "Farsi" OR " English"

Type what you looking for in the search box.catalog is searchable by author, title, subject and keyword by using "Boolean Operators"

Click on the " Search" button.

Look at the list of titles.

Double-click on a title that looks useful.

Choose results display; kinds of displays are: Titles display; Full display; brief display.

Write down the call number of useful title.
· Our libraries Classification system is " NLM= National Library of Medicine Classification "
·The call number is each book's identifying number on the shelves. It's a combination of letters & numbers. For example: QW 525 .V813 2002

Just go to the specified Library bookshelves & find that call number and pick up the book you need.
· If you think of each bookshelf as a street, the call number is the house number of the book. |
