Considering the relatively high prevalence of lymphoma in our region, increasing the incidence, risk factors and the diversity of the low average age of patients with this disease, the need for related infrastructure projects in a systematic and targeted is felt.
To perform studies and applied research projects and planned about this disease requires a comprehensive source of information. Lymphoma Research Unit, located in Mashhad University of Medical Sciences, Omid Hospital, has started to work with the aim of providing this information source since August 2006.

Registered organized Biographical profile of patients with lymphoma

Obtaining complete patient history and record

Recorded blood results, imaging studies and bone marrow

Review initial results of pathology, immunohisto chemistry performed and recorded possible changes and final diagnosis

Organized storage of serum samples, DNA, and tissue of patients with lymphoma
