All the software related activities of MUMS ITC were integrated under the Software Unit in 2006.
This unit is located in the MUMS Information Technology Center, at Emam Reza hospital.
Centralized supervision of software purchase for MUMS is our main policy. Our experts' efforts in software development subunit are focused on the specialized softwares which are not available in the market.
Software Evaluation Policies
Software evaluation for MUMS subunits are divided in four category:

GIS system plus any other software which are not categorized in first three Categories
Responsibilities

Supervising and supporting MUMS softwares by our staff and private companies

Supervising software purchase of all the MUMS subunits to keep software integrity all over the MUMS

Evaluating software needs of MUMs subunits through a scheduled program

Centralizing of evaluation, purchase and development of under web softwares and networking applications with modern technology

Helping our staff to advances in their skills and knowledge and increase their capability for developing and supporting under web and networking softwares

Research and educational software development to meet MUMS research and educational visions
